THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE CONSTITUTE A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND International Bible Society (Europe) ("WE" OR "OUR").PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT ("AGREEMENT") IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE YOU CONTINUE TO USE THESE WEB SITES OR DOWNLOAD ANY TEXT OR IMAGE. BY CHECKING THE BOX THAT INDICATES AGREEMENT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND BY USING THESE WEB SITES, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT CHECK THE BOX INDICATING AGREEMENT, AND DISCONTINUE USING THE SITES.
Ownership of Web Sites
These Web sites are owned and operated by International Bible Society (Europe). All of the Content featured or displayed on these Web sites, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, photographs, images, illustrations and software ("Content"), is owned by IBS Europe, their licensors, advertisers and/or their contributors and agencies. For the protection of IBS Europe and the owners of the Content, Images may be watermarked and/or digitally watermarked.
Your Use of the Content
Until you obtain a license and/or written permission from the copyright holder to use any Content, you may not download, reproduce, distribute, transmit, or otherwise exploit the Content in any way except as described in the permitted usage below. Your use will be limited to the scope of the license agreement and/or the written permission from the copyright holder. No defamatory, obscene or illegal use is ever permitted. All elements of the IBS Europe Web sites, including, but not limited to, the general design and the Content, are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws relating to intellectual property rights.
Permitted Usage
Low-resolution Use of Content on the BibleComposer site: use of Content is limited to the scope of the written permission obtained from the copyright holder and/or IBS Europe.Low-resolution Use of Content on the IBS Europe site grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to copy the texts and images you have selected onto your computer hard drive for in-house use only. The Image(s) may only be copied, modified and incorporated in materials for in-house layouts to be used as in-house presentations, storyboards, or rough draft designs for yourself or your clients and not for use in final projects or use on a corporate Intranet or Internet. This usage of the Image(s) and any derivative works or copies (collectively, the "Image") is permitted on one computer and with one user at a time only.
Restrictions as to Use
The following uses are prohibited:Use of the Image beyond the terms of the limited license agreement and/or written permission of the copyright holder without first obtaining an additional license and/or additional written permission of the copyright holder.
Use of the texts and images in a manner that is defamatory, pornographic or obscene, whether directly or in context or juxtaposition with specific subject matter.
Use of the Image in any way that violates a depicted person's right of privacy or publicity or to infringe on any trade name, trademark or service mark.
Archiving, republishing or transmitting any text and/or images on any database without the copyright holder's and/or IBS Europe's prior written consent.
Indemnification
You may be liable to indemnify IBS Europe, their subsidiaries, their affiliates and licensors against any losses, expenses, costs or damages incurred by any or all of them as a result of your breach of the terms of this Agreement or your unauthorized use of the Content and related rights.
Trademarks
"BibleComposer" and the biblecomposer.com logo are trademarks of IBS Europe.
Disclaimers
THESE WEB SITES AND THEIR CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND IBS Europe EXCLUDE TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IBS Europe WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM THE USE OF THIS SITE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Governing Law and Venue
This Agreement shall be interpreted, construed and governed by the laws of Sweden and the EU copyright legislation.
No Waiver, Severability
No action of IBS Europe, other than an express written waiver or amendment, may be construed as a waiver or amendment of any of these Terms and Conditions of Use. Should any clause of these Terms and Conditions of Use be found unenforceable, wherever possible this will not affect any other clause and each will remain in full force and effect.We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions of Use, prices, information and available contractual license terms featured on these Web sites without notice. These conditions set out the entire agreement between IBS Europe and you relating to your use of these Web sites.
